Our Story

It started at my kitchen counter

My skin had always been too sensitive for store-bought soap — nothing but Dove ever agreed with it. In 2018, after our third boy was born, I was praying to be able to stay home with my children. I didn't know a thing about soapmaking, so I researched and researched, took a small class here in town, and taught myself to make what I couldn't buy. The very first bars were gifts for people I love.

Then friends asked for more

The hobby quietly grew into something I'd prayed for — work I love that lets me stay home with my boys. I slowed down between pregnancies, but I never stopped. Today I formulate, cut, wrap, and ship every bar myself, and set up my own table at markets and the Center for the Arts.

Made here, of here

The yarrow and botanicals in my bars are gathered on hikes with my three boys, their pockets full of the valley. The goat's milk, local honey, and calming oatmeal are chosen for sensitive skin like mine. The shea and kombo butters are fair-trade — the farmers in Ghana who harvest them are paid fairly for their work.

Every batch is manually designed and cut. Handcrafted items will always be unique in their own way.

Thank you for being here.
